cheaper. When I started flying in 1980, a Cessna 150 was
$23/hr and my instructor charged $15/hr!
Now compare that to what local FBO's (Fixed
Based Operators) in our area are charging. Anywhere from $39/hr to $55/hr for a flight instructor who
probably has limited experience. Why pay more than you
have to? Everyone must meet the same standards. Everyone should strive
for excellence!
