BFR - Biennial Flight Review
Is it time for a BFR?
The key word in BFR is the word REVIEW.
Its a review NOT a checkride. Biennials can be an
enjoyable and educational experience through Take Fllight
Aviation. By using real-life scenarios, the review
becomes more interesting. Imagine we are taking a
cross-country trip to Minneapolis for a business meeting..
We'll cover airspace, weather reports, maintenance and equipment
requirements and much more. Everything we would need to
know to make this ficticious trip safely.
Just practicing stalls by rote isn't very beneficial. We'll cover
real-life scenarios which lead to inadvertant stalls. You'll
learn how to avoid these situations and how to
recover from them if necessary. And much more.
BFR's consist of a minimum :
-
1hr Ground review
-
1hr Flight review
Another way to satisfy the requirements of a
BFR is through the FAA
WINGS progam.
